Watch The Throne Tour Grosses $48 Million

It’s no secret that money in the music industry is made from concerts and touring. Pollstars recent list of 2011′s top tours is quite impressive. Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “Watch The Throne” tour only had 35 shows and still grossed $48.3 million. Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour grossed $44.4 million with 71 shows. Both numbers are quite impressive, especially since hip-hop tours have not fared too well in the past.
