Super producer/writer/singer Ester Dean is teaming up with Nicki Minaj again after she creating her hit “Super Bass” track. On the Caribbean laced “Gimmie Money,” the twosome is letting fellas know they can provide for themselves, so they’d rather have their time than their money.

Ester is strongly considering releasing the track as an official single, based off her tweet asking fans to get #GimmieMoney trending if they want it as a single.

Mary Katrantzou is having a fantastic year. It’s only February, and the designer has already won a BFC Fashion Forward award, and collaborated with both Topshop and Longchamp. Not a bad start to 2012! It’s easy to see why Ms. Katranzou is in such high demand. Her uncanny ability to make her busy digital prints flatter a woman’s body has put her on the map as one of the most promising emerging designers out there. So you can understand the excitement over her Fall 2012 collection, and Miss Mary certinaly did not disappoint.

Kreayshawn is just about as ornery as they come. The oddball ex-pimp has been anointed “the missing link between the white girls who all love rap music and all dudes who rap,” rising quickly from being a YouTube celebrity to a smart-mouthed rapper who picked fights with Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross. GQ’s Lauren Bans spent an extremely bizarre New Year’s with the candid, highly anticipated rapper—learning about Kreay’s bisexuality and her almost being cast on Bad Girls Club, to witnessing her backstage antics and her machine-like social-media habits that have made Kreayshawn the sensation that she is today.

Hip-hop star Nicki Minaj has exploded onto the music scene with kaleidoscopic costume changes and hard-hitting lyrics, but there’s a surprising side behind the public persona.

You would not expect Nicki Minaj and Valentino Garavani to have much to say to each other, but front row at the Oscar de la Renta spring 2012 runway show, they exchange greetings worthy of a pair of dowager duchesses. “You look sensational!” “You look fabulous yourself!” Minaj, 29, is hardly your typical Oscar client. The performer is famous for her Harajuku Barbie appearance, a mélange of tiny skirts, bustiers, and leggings in a riot of cartoon hues, invariably topped with a towering pastel wig and Miss Piggy eyelashes. This highly mannered, instantly recognizable look stands in contradiction to the feminist content of many of her lyrics, such as “I’m fightin’ for the girls that never thought they could win,” from “I’m the Best.” But the unlikely combination of cotton-candy style and bold (sometimes frankly obscene) substance has proved a source of fascination and adulation.

Singer/songwriter, Dawn Richard, formerly of Diddy’s Dirty Money and Danity Kane has released a new track called “Black Lipstick” off her anticipated EP, Armor On.

“Black Lipstick is the story of how I found out I needed armor,” says Dawn. “It’s the trap. The music industry is described as a mysterious woman. The seduction and the betrayal of her. I saw in color but as soon as my eyes set on her all that was seen was black and white. That is when I knew i needed to put my armor on.”

The Druski-produced single will appear on the Armor On EP (due March 27th).

If lyrics transcend into real life, Breezy’s first verse does nothing to settle the rumors that he and Rihanna are still ‘cakin’on the side.

The runway show was fun and fresh, with the main theme bright iconic graphics, whether Juicy Fruit stripes, smiley faces or the king of whatever nation, Bart Simpson. One top was even accessorized with a giant cardboard unicorn. All around a great collection with lots of covetable items.
